[WATCH] Pharrell Shoots World’s First 24 Hour Music Video, ‘Happy’
I literally smiled the entire time watching this. Pharrell Williams has revealed the video for ‘Happy’, from Despicable Me 2. Now what makes the video so interesting is that it’s the world’s first 24 hour music video. Reportedly, it was shot in Los Angeles, over 11 days.
According to Deadline, the producer/singer/rapper appears in the video 24 hours, at the top of every hour, followed by 14 additional performances in the same hour.
More than 400 extras and celebs (including Magic Johnson, Jimmy Kimmel, Beverly Smith, Odd Future) appear. The film’s headliners Steve Carell and Miranda Cosgrove even ‘get happy’ with cameos. What’s even more interesting is that you can watch the full 24 hour video on 24hoursofhappy.com.
