‘Tia & Tamera’ Cancel Reality Show
After three seasons of their reality TV show, the beloved twin sisters Tia Mowry-Hardict and Tamera Mowry-Housely announced that they are taking a break from the cameras to show a little more attention to family. The show “Tia and Tamera” that was launched on the Style Network back in 2011, was themed to document the sisters juggle between family, career and womanhood. After years of being on the small screen, it appears that the sisters are ready to give up the TV life and move on. Tuesday, Tamera announced via Twitter that the show would not be returning:
Wanted to say Thank You for all the love and support. But most of all welcoming me, my husband, n (and) my son into your homes for 3 seasons … Tia and Tamera will not have a season 4. Thank you for always supporting us throughout the years. Tia n (and) I decided it was time 2 live r (our) family lives behind the cameras…
This may come as a disappointment to fans but the sisters, ensured that they wouldn’t be venturing too far. Tia has a TV comedy, “Instant Mom” (On Nickelodeon) and Tamera is returning as a co-host on “The Real,” the talk show.
Tia & Tamera released a joint statement on their website on their upcoming ventures,
This year, one of our resolutions is to Say Yes to Less Negativity. We believe that like happiness, positivity is a choice. We’ve always been glass half-full kind of girls, but we’re not going to deny that it’s easy to fall into a negative mindset when the odds are stacked against you. This year, we’re choosing to stay positive – no matter what life brings! We know it can be hard – especially when life throws curveballs – but as role models for Cree and Aden, we are choosing to lead by example.
We’re excited to be teaming up with Little Remedies® on their Say Yes To Less campaign. Whether it’s saying yes to less negativity, distractions, waste or sugar, taking the pledge to Say Yes to Less is the first step in starting the New Year off on the right foot. We love that they apply the Say Yes to Less mantra to their products as well – their line of children’s medicines, supplements and personal-care products are free of dyes, artificial flavoring and alcohol. Less of the unnecessary. More of what counts. Now that’s the kind of thinking we want to apply in the New Year… “

I love these two but sometimes their just a little too dramatic.I did’ t see anything negative about their show. They had real life sister disagreements. But,they always brought it back to the love.Honestly,we can use slot more of that type of tv.But,God bless them for choosing family.Good luck girls!
