It’s official, awards season on the left coast has officially begun. On Sunday (January 12th), the 71st Golden Globes took place in Los Angeles, at the Beverly Hills hotel. As expected, stars put their best fashion foot forward popping with high-end designer gowns (short, long, fitted), beat faces and uber pricey jewelry. We’ll be Live Blogging the red carpet snaps. Sidebar: The red carpet was almost completely ruined when their was disaster a few hours prior. Reportedly, early Sunday afternoon a sewage pipe burst at the hotel, spilling and flooding the pathway.

We’re also told that lights set off an alarm system that sprayed black sewage and water on various cameras and the red carpet. The Beverly Hills Fire Department showed up, using air blowers and wet vacuums to clean up the mess. Yikes.
