New York City, arguably the world’s mecca for signature fashion and style, has officially kicked off its bi-annual celebration of New York Fashion Week. On Friday (February 7th), fashion designer extraordinaire Korto Momolu introduced her collection, “Urban Coup”, to fashion enthusiast at Helen Mills. The Project Runway All-star’s military inspired ‘Urban Coup’, paid tribute to military chic, parading models down the runway with green lips and eye-catching silhouettes.
SheaMoisture served as Korto’s title sponsor and the official hair and makeup design team. After her show, the VERY pregnant designer tweeted:
It was all a dream.. #NYC was beyond LIVE tonight :) thank you #TeamKorto for showing up, showing out and showing love! #HelenMillsFW…
