NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet: Oprah, Kerry Washington Lupita Nyong’o & More + Complete Winner List

The 45th NAACP Image Awards presented by TV One, took place Saturday (February 22nd) at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena.

The annual awards show, presented by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), honors outstanding people of color in film, television, music, and literature. Similar to other awards, like the Oscars and the Grammys, the 35 categories of the Image Awards are voted on by the award organization’s members (that is, NAACP members). Some of this year’s winners include Scandal (Best Drama Series), 12 Years A Slave (Outstanding Motion Picture) and Kevin Hart (Entertainer of the Year).
