Secret Rihanna Visit Triggered Break Up With Chris Brown & Karrueche

Earlier this month, we reported that singer Chris Brown and model Karrueche Tran had ended their relationship. Initial reports suggested that their break-up was centered around Chris’ ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. Reportedly, Rihanna’s involvement in their demise has some truth to it.

According to reports, Rihanna secretly visited Chris during his recent stint in a Malibu rehab, which Karrueche was not pleased with.

A source shares with Page Six that in late January, Rihanna flew on a private plane to visit him at the Malibu rehab center where he is serving a court-ordered stint in an anger management and drug recovery program. Allegedly, she spent a few hours with her ex and then jetted out quickly, with only a few staffers knowing.

After her visit, Karrueche ended things with Chris. The source shares:

With Chris in rehab, [he] and Karrueche spoke every day and she stood by his side. She took a vacation to Turks and Caicos and told friends the entire time that they were really good and happy together. She trusts Chris, but when it comes to Rihanna, she has a zero-tolerance policy. Then she found out about the trip.

When she learned Rihanna had visited Chris, he at first denied it.

She believed him, but he finally admitted that Rihanna had come to see him. She put her foot down and cut him off completely.

Karrueche hasn’t spoken publicly about their break-up, but did send an interesting tweet last week. She wrote:

Not dating anyone stop w the bs.

We’re told this tweet was to end rumors that she was dating NBA baller, Brandon Jennings.

As for Rihanna, she’s been seen traveling with and Drake, another ex. The two partied at Soixante Dix Neuf nightclub after a Drake concert in Paris last month. They had dinner in Amsterdam on Thursday, and were spotted having dinner Saturday at Nobu in London before heading to Powerhouse Studio to party.
