Another Win For Lupita Nyon’go! Actress Serves Face For Lancome
This has been a helluva year for Lupita Nyong’o. According to USA Today, the 29-year-old Oscar winning actress has snagged a cosmetic deal as one of Lancome’s ambassadors. Ads will start appearing in September. She released in a statement:
I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved. I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman’s freedom to be herself.
The Best supporting actress winner joins the ranks of Kate Winsletand and Julia Roberts, who are also Lancome ambassadors.
This isn’t her first time dabbling in the world of fashion/cosmetics. Earlier this year, Lupita popped up in Miu Miu’s spring 2014 campaign, and sat front-row at the brand’s recent show. Not to mention she’s been on a number of Best Dressed lists during the awards season (rockin’ e’rythang from Gucci, Chanel to Ralph Laruen).
According to E!, Lupita will make her first post-Oscars appearance back in Hollywood at the April 12GLAAD Media Awards.
