‘Married To Medicine’ Hosts Premiere Party + Was Mariah Huq Uninvited?

Some of the ‘Married 2 Medicine‘ cast members celebrated season two of BRAVO’s hit reality show.

While the entire cast didn’t attend, we did spot returning cast members Quad Webb-Lunceford, Dr. Jacqueline “Jackie” Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore and Toya Bush-Harris. We also spotted two of the show’s newbies Lisa Nicole Cloud and Dr. Heavenly Kimes. The private event was attended by Braxton Family Values’ Towanda Braxton, Tamar Braxton and her husband Vincent Herbert, along with Marlo Hampton, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Mimi Faust and her boyfriend, Nikko.

Noticeable absent was cast member and producer Mariah Huq. An insider tells us exclusively that the tension between Mariah and the cast members is at an all time high. So much so, that she was not involved in the premiere party. Mariah wrote on her personal social media pages:

Apparently there has been a bit of confusion. I’m not having an event tonight.It’s NOT my event. So many of you have emailed me, inboxed me and text me and I sooo appreciate your support. We will be celebrating 2nd season & Our long journey on this show in a private event. In box for details. thanks sooo much for your support. Mariah HuQ Executive Producer Married to Medicine

Since season one ended, best friends Mariah and Quad are no longer friends. The crumbling of their friendship plays out during season two, which we’re sure we’ll be full of entertainment and drama.

Season 2 of Married to Medicine premieres on Sunday, April 6 at 9 pm with more laughter, drama, and, of course, “shade.” Returning this season are Toya Bush-Harris, Mariah Huq,Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Quad Webb-Lunceford, Dr. Simone Whitmore, along with newcomers, entrepreneur Lisa Nicole Cloud and Dr. Heavenly Kimes.

Mariah and Quad’s once inseparable friendship is barely hanging onto life support. Mariah, the self-proclaimed “Queen Bee,” has demanded credit for making Quad “relevant” in the exclusive circle of Atlanta medicine, while Quad feels Mariah has a bad case of jealousy. While Toya’s search for her dream home continues, her friendship with long-time friend Simone comes to a surprising halt. As for the doctors, life isn’t all roses. Dr. Simone realizes that her busy career and recent financial blunder has taken a toll on her marriage. Meanwhile, Dr. Jackie, a two-time survivor of breast cancer, is ready to finally experience motherhood, either through adoption or by using a surrogate — with her biggest obstacle being her husband.

Add to the mix the larger-than-life Dr. Heavenly Kimes, who is both a dentist and married to a doctor, and Lisa Nicole, a successful entrepreneur and fashion designer, and the result is a recipe for sass, class, and one of the most explosive — and brutally honest — confrontations yet.

Married to Medicine returns April 6th.
