Ear Hustlin’: ‘Married 2 Medicine’ Snags Atl Fashion Designer, Lisa Nicole Cloud
The popular Bravo TV show Married to Medicine has added a new cast member to the brood for its second season. The show, which showcases the fast-paced and drama-filled social scene of Atlanta’s exclusive medical inner circle, has added reportedly added wife of E.R. Doctor Dr.Darren Naugles, author and fashion designer, Lisa Nicole Cloud. The petite entrepreneur has taken her expertise in both fashion and business to the ladies of medicine.
Rumor has it, she’ll be joining the already casted members, OBGYN Jacqueline Walters, model and wife to orthopedic surgeon Duncan Wells, Kari Wells, Entrepreneur and Wife to Dr. Aydin Huq, Mariah Huq (creator and noted “Queen Bee” of the show), wife to psychiatrist Dr. Gregory Lunceford and friend to Lisa, Quad Webb-Lunceford, OBGYN and business owner Simone Whitmore, and Pharmaceutical rep and wife to E.R. Dr. Eugene Harris, Toya Bush-Harris. Despite the cattiness and hair pulling by the poolside that may have occurred on the first season, Lisa Cloud seems to be taking a more mature approach to being the new addition. During recent sit down with “Talking With Tami” she expresses her goals for the show. Peep the excerpts below.
On why she wanted to be on a reality show when she was doing so well already:
She hopes to bring a lot of “positivity” to the show and be a mentor to the ladies when they need her. She has several successful businesses and she hopes she can also share light on how she achieved and maintained them”
On Whether she and her husband were sure about doing reality tv:
She told me that her husband, Dr.Darren Naugles (who’s a E.R. Doctor) and her discussed it and that they were totally fine with doing the show.”
When Asked If during taping did she have to get sassy with any of the ladies:
Yep, I kept it classy though but I did have to go there once!
Although Lisa may be bringing more positivity to the woman of medicine, she is also bringing her fashion line.
Lisa Nicole Collection, which she says on her site that “exudes power, class and sophistication,” is a partnership of herself and another one of Bravo’s own, Dwight Eubanks that launched in April. Being a mother of two, she has incorporated themes that advocate more than just fashion in her shows with her “Fashion for a Cause” event titled Atlanta A-List Fashion Experience. The event, hosted by Dwight and Publisher of Sister2Sister Magazine, Jamie Foster Brown, was taped for a future episode and served as a fundraiser for a medical mission trip to Haiti next September.
