Columbus Short’s Wife Files For Divorce: Says Actor Put Knife Up To Her Throat & Threatened to Kill Her
She says he then demanded they play a game he called “Truth or Truth.” He allegedly said if she lied he would stab her in the leg. She says he then started naming men he believed she was having affairs with. She denied them all but he allegedly then put the knife to her throat and threatened murder/suicide. As she tried escaping she says he slashed her tire.
Reportedly, restraining order requires that he move out of their home immediately. He’s also been charged with criminal domestic violence and child abuse because the alleged incident took place while their two-year-old daughter and his son were home. He pled not guilty.
Tuere also filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. She’s asking for sole custody of their daughter.
Just last month, we saw the couple happily shopping with their daughter in LA at The Grove. To date, Columbus hasn’t spoken about this incident or the other two violent incidents that he’s been accused of.
