[WATCH] V.Stiviano Gives 1st Interview About Donald Sterling: I’ve Been Labeled His ‘Mistress’, A ‘Whore of the Night’

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s rumored mistress/confidante V. Stiviano spoke out for the first time, toABC’s Barbara Walters. In her first sit-down, V who refers to herself as Donald’s ‘best friend’ and confidante, says that she thinks the NBA basketball owner should apologize for his racist remarks.

I think he’s highly more traumatized and hurt by the things that he said himself. I think he can’t even believe or understand sometimes the thing he says, and I think he’s hurt by it. He’s hurting right now.

Prior to this interview with, we’ve shared photos of V. in public, wearing a large visor to cover her face, which she said it made it “easier to mask the pain.”

The interview comes a week after TMZ released the audio recordings, which launched the league investigation that led to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to ban Sterling for life. The NBA Board of Governors will vote on whether Sterling will be forced to sell the team.

V. told Walters that she did record their conversations, and shared them with friends. She claims that she did not leak them to the media, but says that a friend did.
