[EXCLUSIVE] Lawyer Up! Nicci Gilbert Suing TV One Over New Reality Show, ‘Hollywood Divas’
Last week, we shared news of a new TV One reality show, Hollywood Divas. The show features Hollywood actresses including: Elise Neal (The Hughleys), Paula Jai Parker (Hustle and Flow), Countess Vaughn (The Parkers), Lisa Wu—Real Housewives of Atlanta—and Girlfriends’ Golden Brooks. While the show has already began to film, there seems to be a bit of unease that may cause TV One a serious court battle.
As you know, Nicci Gilbert and Faith Evans are the co- creators & Executive producers of the R&B Divas Franchise. There have been conflicting reports, but we are told that Hollywood Divas is a spin-off of R&B Divas. Today (May 14th), Nicci’s PR sent us an exclusive statement, announcing that she plans to take the network to court. A complaint for damages has been filed in Fulton County, Georgia.
Reportedly Nicci’s NOEGO Entertainment has filed lawsuit agains the network and ThinkFactoryMedia, Inc. Here are a list of counts, along with portions of the suit.

How do you get someone “behaving badly” simply because they have to take buisness matters to court? I’m waiting……… Read the documents before sounding like an ‘instructed troll’ voicing asinine statements. It’s obvious to everybody including tv one that they’re trying to spin the Divas franchise off without compensating the creator. That’s why we have courts of Law.
