Ice Cube Announces Official Cast For NWA Movie, Straight Outta Compton

It’s official. Ice Cube (real name O’Shea Jackson) has confirmed the cast for his upcoming film, Straight Outta Compton. The film will give viewers an inside look at the popular 80’s/90’s group N.W.A. (an abbreviation of Niggaz Wit Attitudes) that featured Arabian Prince, DJ Yella, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube and MC Ren.  The film is set to hit theaters in 2015. Cube confirmed the cast on twitter, writing:

Finally found the cast for the NWA movie. Me, Gary Gray, Dre w/ Cube, Eazy & Dre #StraightOuttaCompton  coming 8/14/15.

The N.W.A  movie has been in development for quite some time.
