[EXCLUSIVE] RHOA Star Apollo Nida Wants Judge to Forget About Criminal Past

He explains that when it is time to sentence him — he has already plead guilty to the charges — that he would appreciate if the judge applied a downward departure from Criminal History Category V to Criminal History
Category IV in regards to his past.

Nida explains that the category he is currently considered overstates the seriousness of what he did–especially since most of his crimes were committed when he was a teen and early 20’s.

The docs state,

A departure to Criminal History Category IV acknowledges that Mr. Nida has a criminal history that is more serious than the criminal histories of defendants typically falling in Criminal History Category III, while at the same time recognizes that Mr. Nida is not the type of criminal (i.e., one with at least some violent or drug-related past offenses for which significant periods of incarceration were imposed) who usually falls within the highest criminal history categories.

Nida, who is married to RHOA cast member Phaedra Parks, has committed past crimes including serving prison time from 2004-2009 for auto title fraud. He will be sentenced in this case on July 8th. Read the exclusive court documents.
