[Audio] Deitrick Haddon’s Ex-Wife Damita, Speaks Out: Claims Gospel Singer Impregnated Woman During Their Marriage
Path MEGAzine: In 2011 he says you guys were going through a divorce when he met his wife Dominique and got her pregnant, do those timelines add up?
Damita Haddon: It does not. Nobody’s stupid, especially people who have been married before or
been in relationships. The process of divorce takes time. If I was going through anything in our marriage and nothing was wrong in our marriage—I’m just putting that out there—we we’re bickering there was no infidelity. We were happily and successfully pastoring in Detroit.
He left in the Month of June, around the BET Celebration of Gospel, I believe. He left two days after I buried my mom. Until that day, what ever issues or arguments or beef that we had like marriages do, had been squashed after my mom died. I wasn’t under the impression that he was going anywhere but two days after I buried my mom he left. Next thing I know there’s somebody pregnant. That just doesn’t add up, you don’t sleep with a random person and get her pregnant.
I had been married for 15 years and I don’t know who she is so obviously there was something going on. Anybody’s that been married, male or female—and you don’t know this other person, then obviously there was something going on while you were married—this was a strange young girl, it doesn’t add up when you do the math. What was really crazy was the church, our congregation could see through this and there were a lot of statements that were made over the pulpit to our congregation. That was said, ‘You know Pastor Damita and Pastor Deitrick are separated’ and the statement in the pulpit was ‘it was not infidelity.’ This was said out of his mouth and now we’re turning around and saying that it is so which one was it? Because you tell the church it was not infidelity now you’re turning around and telling social media that it is. A lot of things didn’t add up.

He’s now remarried. You’re now remarried. Why speak on it now? But anywho, this is why I will never watch the show. It’s almost like a mockery of God to me.
Although I do watch the show, I LOVE how you just put that! I honestly never looked at it that way.
All I can say is WOW! There is clearly a lot of hurt still there and unfortunately, time doesn’t heal all wombs. I watch the show and attend church regularly and I see this type of thing more and more. When Alaya said it was like “mocking God’ I could totally see where she is coming from! Some people get up there, cry wolf, and have you thinking they are just THE most saved person in the world…but when you are leaving church you get a dirty message in your FB inbox! Smh They will all be held accountable for their discretions, as we all will, but at least we aren’t putting ours on display for the viewing public to “judge” us
