[INTERVIEW] Adrienne Bailon On ‘The View’ Comparisons, Why She Hasn’t Reached Out to Rob Kardashian & What She Loves Most About Her Boyfriend

At night, after a great night. I think sex in the morning is wonderful as well, but as a woman, I feel my most confident when I don’t have morning breath and my make-up is still intact and I know that I looked fly that evening and had maybe a few glasses of wine in me, come home, we’ve had a bomb a** evening, we went to a party, I looked fly, we’re talking in the car on the way home, kissing, get home and make it happen and fall asleep, that is my favorite.

theJasmineBRAND: What has been the hardest lesson for you to learn about yourself?

That not everybody is going to know me personally, like not everybody will be able to sit down and have a conversation with me and that I had to be aware of the image that I was projecting. I don’t think I realized that until a lot later, I think for a long time people had a misconception of who I was and what I was about and that hurt me a lot and I would always find myself getting my feelings hurt. Then I realized well, take control of it, you have the control. If you don’t want people thinking that you’re a slut, don’t wear things that look a certain way. But I didn’t understand that, I always felt like ‘but I’ve always been in a relationship, I’m a girlfriend kind of girl’ but there was something that I was doing that I was projecting that was not genuinely who I was inside and I think If I can teach my daughter that from a young age, to recognize that…and girl people aren’t going to be able to have one-on-one talks with you to find the depths of your spirit and your heart and sadly I’m going to get judged with what people think I am and you have to be so careful about how people view you.
