It’s been less than 48 hours and there has been lots of reactions to Shantel Jackson’s lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. As previously reported, this week Shantel (who is his ex-fiancee), held a press conference with her attorney, Gloria Allred (Gloria has represented numerous A-listers and high profile cases).
Shantel announced a lawsuit against the boxer for battery, assault, invasion of privacy, defamation and false imprisonment. According to the court documents, Shantel claims Floyd became violent with her in 2012. She alleges on multiple occasions he physically assaulted her and was verbally abusive. During one alleged incident, she claims that Floyd pulled a gun out on her.
Fast forward to the present day and Josie Harris, the mother of three of Floyd’s children, has reacted to Shantel’s claims.
[Side Bar: In 2011, a judge sentenced Mayweather to serve 90 days in the county jail for battery upon his Josie in September 2010.
