Chris Lighty’s Brother Launches Petition to Reopen Controversial Suicide Case
This Petition is to reopen the case on Darrell “Chris” Lighty. Requesting that the city of New York provide the needed materials for us to do our own gun residue test and independent autospy by Michael Baden and to look closely at the facts and help my family get some closure as we do not feel that Darrell committed suicide.
Earlier this month, TV One aired a Celebrity Crime Stories episode about Chris’ death.
Dave posted a message on his Instagram, promoting the episode and stating his disbelief about how his brother died:
He is greatly missed by his family and friends and peers alike. It’s been 2 years since his passing on August 30 2012. For me I don’t believe it my gut tells me different on the circumstances leading to Chris’s death. On September 8th with the help of TVOne, Celebrity Crime Stories aires the first episode on Chris Lighty find out what went on the day in question. Did Chris really kill himself? Tune in and watch and make up your mind on what really happened that day. #chrislighty #violator #gonebutneverforgotten

Condolences: George E. Johnson, Pioneer Of Black Hair Care Products Such As Ultra Sheen & Afro Sheen, Passes Away At 99
Its been two years and I’m still in shock like everyone else. He was my boss through Brand Asset Group for 2-years working with Motions Hair Care. Gave me my 1st start in lights, camera-Action! I will forever be THANKFUL for this group of people of Brand Asset Group/Violator. I was in deep shock reading he shot himself as well. Not knowing him personally but showing up on set just don’t ring to me he would kill himself. I would open in up too…cause this don’t seem right. Family is still in my prayers.
