Django Unchained Actress Says She Was Mistaken As Prostitute by Police

Actress Daniele Watts, blames race for a recent incident with Los Angeles police. The actress, who is African American and appeared in “Django Unchained,” is complaining that she was handcuffed and briefly put in the back of a squad car after a public display of affection with her white husband, Brian Lucas.
Brian told KCBS-TV in a joint interview with Daniele that he suspects police mistook the black actress for a prostitute “because he was asking me questions like, ‘Who is she? How do you know her? Are you together?”
The Los Angeles Police Department said Sunday that officers detained the pair after a complaint that two people were “involved in indecent exposure” in a silver Mercedes. According to TMZ, witnesses say the couple was actually having sex in their car.
Daniele told the station that she and Brian were embracing in the car Thursday when police showed up. The station said the two have been dating for the past year, while others report they are married. She explained:
I knew that the clearest thing for me to do was to own my right as a free person and say, ‘I haven’t done anything wrong and I know I’m not required to give you my ID.’

She says she walked away and another officer put her in handcuffs and into the back of a patrol car. She was let go after police identified her. She later recounted her experience on Facebook, writing:

Y’all may not like my comment, but it’s the truth.
I feel either way the cops can’t win. I’m assuming that in this area there are prostitutes and the demographic is primarily African American women. Then you have many men in the area that are white males who are trolling for their services.
Because of this, when the cops asks you for your ID, just give it to him! I’m sorry, I’m an African American female and I’m not offended. No, it’s not fair, but don’t be shocked if you fit the description and you’re cup-caking in a car in an area that is highly trafficked with black prostitutes and white men!
Why didn’t she jut give him the freaking ID? What the hell. I mean seriously, just stop with that. They are law enforcement. Yes, many of them are straight up jerks, but many of them are doing their job for the residents in the area.
If I’m reading right you ARE assuming they were in a area that usually has prostitutes…..OK then, that background would tell me nope. In addition pal called that means if they saw others prostitutes they’d do the dam which we’d result in cops in the area at all times. This us just watched IA always is…..he’s not clean cut she does not look classy enough. Another thing….If he was soliciting isn’t that illegal for him to do? Shouldn’t he have been in cuffs too? Ok
Not sure if you heard the latest, but people have now submitted pictures to TMZ that shows that actress was having sex with him in the car – head bopping up and down out of the sunroof!
Once again, sometimes the cops are just doing their jobs.

“Witnesses took pictures of what looked like Daniele bouncing on top of Brian as they used to open sunroof to steady themselves.
An eyewitness who saw Daniele and Brian as he worked in a nearby office tells TMZ … Brian was sitting in the passenger seat with his feet on the curb and Daniele was straddling him with her shirt pulled up — breasts exposed. The eyewitness says she was grinding on top of him, rocking back and forth.
Someone from the office went down and asked Daniele and Brian to stop because everyone in the office could see them but they continued.
The eyewitnesses say Brian then began “horizontally bongoing her boobs back and forth.” He says she eventually reached into the center console, grabbed a tissue, wiped him down and then herself and tossed it on the grass.”
Basically…she NASTY! *picks up cup and sips tea*
