Rapper Common’s Father Passes: He was truly a natural poet.
Very sad news for rapper Common. Reportedly, last week the 44-year-old’s rapper/actor’s father Lonnie ‘Pops’ Lynn, Sr. passed away (on September 12th). According to Miss Info, Common’s father was 71 and passed away peacefully.
Common shared the sad news in an interview yesterday, explaining:
He was truly a natural poet and master of words. His personality and soul shined through his work. The way he said things made me look at life and the world in a new way, in a different way.
