[EXCLUSIVE] Tamar Braxton: I’m Not A Music Thief! Singer Wants Lawsuit Thrown Out
and she even recorded the song with her vocals.
She explained that Hunte gave the rights to the song to Braxton for her album “Love and War”, which was allowed but not for her to use the vocals she recorded on her version of the song.
Kozulin claimed she was co-writer of the song and sued for 50% of the royalties plus damages.
Then on September 15th, Braxton fired back denying she stole anything from the songwriter.
Braxton says that she doesn’t understand why she is being sued and that Kozulin had an agreement with Hunte NOT her.
She explains that any, “purported losses or damages, if any, were proximately caused by the
negligent, careless, reckless or intentional acts” of Hunte. Braxton is demanding the legal battle against her be dismissed and Kozulin be awarded NOTHING
