Meagan Good Disappointed Church Folk Judging & Criticizing Leaked Nude Photos + Read Her Message!
It’s been a few days since Meagan Good’s nude photos leaked and both the actress and her husband, DeVon Franklin, are feeling the backlash from a few critics. As previously reported, Meagan was one of the celebrities whose iCloud account was compromised, resulting in the leak.
While some certainly sympathize with Meagan, others have criticized her for taking such provocative photos. Today (September 24th), Meagan posted a message on Instagram, sharing her disappointment, particular in the judgement of her ‘brothers and sisters’ (our guess is she means people of faith, Christians, etc). She writes:
These last days have been hard…But I know that God is in the plan…I choose to trust him — even when I don’t understand…After all, that’s what real faith is…I will say, it’s been disappointing to receive such harsh judgement & criticism from my own brothers & sisters —

The answer to all of this, and to the other celebrities out there who stupidly take & post or save nude photos to an electronic device is simple…don’t. However unfortunate it is, anyone in their right mind would know that they’re taking a chance for this to happen. And so it did…now she’s getting backlash from her church folks…but of course. The way she provocatively dresses and displays all of her assets, I’m sure her “brothers & sisters” jumped right on this. Even though they shouldn’t judge….yeah right! Megan should’ve found a good old fashioned camera or got creative in another way.

She’s talking like a Christian but not showing much evidence (James 1:22; II Corinthians 5:17). Most importantly, Christian means Christ-like/follower of Christ; disciple of Christ; disciplined in the Lord. It’s imperative that she reads, studies and lives the Bible, so she can become a true woman of God (James 1:22-25). We don’t come to God on our own terms, trying to dictate to Him how we should live in representation of Him; we get our instructions for Christian living from His instructions: THE BIBLE. The Bible teaches us that the body is the temple of God (I Corinthians 3:16; I Corin. 6:19); not our temple, but His. Dressing the way Meagan does leaves nothing to the imagination and is very disrespectful to God, as well as her husband. They (God and her husband) should be the only ones seeing her nude body. Furthermore, if you’re married, the Bible says your body is your spouse’s and your spouse’s is yours. Besides, you all get to see each other’s nude bodies 24/7, at any given time. Why in the world do you find the need to film/photo your naked body for his pleasure and/or sexual gratification? Is that supposed to “keep” him? Sounds like this relationship is based upon sex and body parts instead of spiritual commitment, regardless of physical attributes. Just plain foolish! She must not lash out at Christians, because she brought this on herself. Christians are only saying what thus saith the Lord and are coming from His perspective, based on the holy scriptures, which she is evidently ignorant of; that’s not being judgmental; it’s simply stating the truth just as it is. We true Christians have every right to be offended, because she clearly does not represent those women of God who die to self and crucify flesh on a daily basis; those who are modest, holy, and God-fearing. Get saved for real, Ms. Meagan, according to God’s principles and not your own. Then and only then can you represent him well. Please stop shaming His name, and please check out the greatest commandment of God when you get the time. Okay? (Deut. 6:5; Matthew 22:37).

i normally dont put my 2cents in on things like this, however these comments are SICKENING. how dare people elude that if u dress a certain way, u cant understand God and his word. the whole point of her statement was totally missed. it is her perrogative to send any type of pics she wants to her HUSBAND. she did not pose nude for playboy, make a sex tape then secretly expose it herself, nor did she take those pics and sell them. her privacy was VIOLATED and that is the point here. all u self righteous people need to get a damn life and stop casting stones. no telling what falls out of your closets once the door is opened. smh
