Oxygen Green Lights Spin-Off Preachers of Detroit + ‘Iyanla Fix My Life’ Delivers Over 1 Million Viewers

In other TV news, OWN’s popular series “Iyanla: Fix My Life” from Harpo Studios is doing well in the ratings department.

According to TV by the Numbers, the show delivered 1.15 million total viewers and a .99 rating in the network’s key W25-54 demo on Saturday night (9/20/14) making it the highest rated episode since November 2013 and the third most watched episode in the history of the series on OWN.

Reportedly, the episode was also Saturday night’s most-watched telecast on all of TV for African-American viewers and the #1 ad-supported cable telecast for all African-American women. On the episode, Iyanla worked with a man who has fathered 34 children with 17 different women, in addition to adopting nine other children.
