[VIDEO] Mona Scott-Young Talks Reunion Drama, Says Some Were Disappointed in Joseline Hernandez
This week, Mona Scott-Young visited CENTRIC’s ‘Arise 360’. In addition to promoting her MYX Fusions brand (she’s the Chief Marketing Officer), the owner of entertainment company Monami Entertainment discussed the Love & Hip Hop franchise. The highly rated VH1 show, with spin-offs to date in Atlanta and Hollywood, has a cult following. And according to Mona, it’s because some viewers see a little of themselves:
I think people enjoy being able to sit in their living room and see what’s going on in other people’s lives…I always say I also think there’s a relatability factor…that nobody wants to cop to. I think you watch that show and you see a little bit of something that you recognize. Maybe a little bit of something of yourself … Love or hate it, they’re addicted.
When asked if she thinks the drama, specifically with the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion, goes too far she explained:
You know, from a personal perspective, there are certain things that I feel like ‘Oh, God.’ Some of the stuff

Mona is a very smart lady but has simply pimped these people out! Yes, she has made some of them famous but she has also exploited a lot of people for financial gain. Initially when the first love and hip hop came on with Chrissy & Jim Jones, I thought it was refreshing to see another woman really make a name for herself and work to put VH1 at the top but she is just kinda sad now. And this K Michelle spin off…smdh That show shouldnt even be aired because of all the negative things she’s said about Memphitz beating her and basically defaming him and his character! Who publicly lies about domestic violence like that? “That man beat my ass!” Yeah he didnt smh
You said it right. Mona Madam has pimped these people on this Love and Hip Hop franchise. It’s sad that people will do anything for a check. They lie, steal, make sex tapes, and fight people just to increase their check flow. All of them are starting to look like a circus act. SMDH.
Mrs. Mona is the reigning female Don King of this reality tv bizzzzzness honey. Far be it from me to be waving some SUPER MORAL QUEEN flag; these folks are grown. No, I will NOT be telling the KIDZ all my bizzness…However comma…if you wanna turn-up for a check go on then.
She is such a shit talker.Who was disappointed in Joseline? She did what you expected them to do. (her+Stevie)Cut the uck up.Mona please smh
She is one shady producer. I won’t surprised if she was the one filming Mimi’s sex tape
*DEAD*
A spade is a spade and a pimp is a pimp. Mona Scott-Young manipulates the inner evil that lie within these women. She is a true misogynist. There is no way she can sincerely love Black Women and exploit them for profit the way that she does. When Joseline had an abortion, did she offer her any counseling? When Mimi dropped her sex tape, did she offer Mimi any counseling? Was she concerned about how this would impact Mimi’s daughter, or was her only concern about how this would impact her RATINGS?
Has she had a life coach come on the show and try to change the footsteps of the women towards a more positive direction? Has she done ANYTHING to enlighten Black Women about their self-worth, self-esteem or self love? No, she has created an international stage to allow Black Women to portray ourselves as savage, promiscuous, eye rolling, finger pointing, neck rolling, unable to articulate a sentence without a curse word, competitive, catty, desperate, jump offs, baby mama’s and wives. Any attempt to the better the women she exploits would put a dent in her pockets, and she’s not having that.
Y’all going hard today!
I seriously hate the way they are talking bad about joseline and stevie j,they are both cool people
I can’t believe they use the whole 1hr in part two and part three to talk about joseline and Stevie
