[VIDEO] Mona Scott-Young Talks Reunion Drama, Says Some Were Disappointed in Joseline Hernandez
This week, Mona Scott-Young visited CENTRIC’s ‘Arise 360’. In addition to promoting her MYX Fusions brand (she’s the Chief Marketing Officer), the owner of entertainment company Monami Entertainment discussed the Love & Hip Hop franchise. The highly rated VH1 show, with spin-offs to date in Atlanta and Hollywood, has a cult following. And according to Mona, it’s because some viewers see a little of themselves:
I think people enjoy being able to sit in their living room and see what’s going on in other people’s lives…I always say I also think there’s a relatability factor…that nobody wants to cop to. I think you watch that show and you see a little bit of something that you recognize. Maybe a little bit of something of yourself … Love or hate it, they’re addicted.
When asked if she thinks the drama, specifically with the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion, goes too far she explained:
