Her performance included a medley (Super Bass and Anaconda), with assistance from the new track featuring Skylar Grey. Lyrically, the song seems to addresses the rumored split with ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels. It also seems to address the 31-year-old singer contemplating suicide, which she has spoken about publicly.
