(EXCLUSIVE) DJ Whoo Kid Settles Nasty Legal Battle With World Star Hip Hop Over 50 Cent
The website then counter-sued DJ Whoo Kid – who works with G-Unit and is signed to their label – claiming he had given permission to the site to post the images and include links to mixtapes he created featuring the hip hop crews music.
Earlier this year, 50 Cent won his lawsuit against the website with the judge determining his image and trademarks had been violated by the website. The amount of damages that the rapper will be awarded has yet to be determined.
Then on November 20th, documents were filed in the case stating that World Star Hip Hop and DJ Whoo Kid have reached a settlement and they are both dismissing all claims against the other along with paying their own attorney fees. Long story short, the legal battle that has gone on for over four years has finally come to a close. See the Court docs.
