(EXCLUSIVE) Drake’s $84 Million Music Royalties at Center of Jas Prince’s Lawsuit Against Cash Money
Rumor has it, Drake (real name Aubrey Drake Graham) has earned over $84 million dollars while signed to Cash Money. theJasmineBRAND.com has exclusively learned that music producer Jas Prince appears to be firing back at Lil Wayne and his company’s attempt to have his lawsuit thrown out for 22% of the profits — claiming they are not appreciative for the $40 million dollars he made them by bringing them the rapper.
As previously reported, music Producer Jas Prince — who just happens to be the ex-fiancee of Christina Milian — filed a federal lawsuit against Cash Money Records earlier this year. In the court documents, he explains that back in 2007 both him and his company Young Empire Music Group discovered Drake and signed him to Aspire Music Group . He says that then Cash Money approached them and they wanted to sign Drake, but to do so they had to agree to pay 22% of all Drake’s advances, net profits and other advances to Jas Prince & Aspire.
