(EXCLUSIVE) Tom Cruise’s Bodyguard, Sean Rinngold, Sues Tabloid Over Story Claiming He Was Charged With Rape

According to the court docs, Rinngold says that at the time of the article being published, Cruise was suing the same company behind the website over claims he abandoned Suri and he claims they published the article about him to put Cruise in a negative light.

He explains that no rape allegations were ever mentioned in his indictment and due to the article being published, billions of people have read it and his reputation has been damaged along with his future income. According to the court docs, he also says he has suffered mental anguish.

Rinngold is suing for damages for defamation and claims they published the article knowing it was all FALSE. See the court docs.
