(EXCLUSIVE) Baseball Legend Frank Thomas Battles Reebok Over Sneaker Line
Reebok reportedly claims Thomas is not entitled to any money and has not suffered any damages due to their campaign. They demanded the lawsuit be thrown out of court and Thomas be awarded NOTHING.
The lawsuit has been pending for months, with both sides prepping for the case to go to trial. Then on December 12th, Reebok filed docs accusing Thomas of refusing to hand over important financial documents in the case.
In the court docs, they explain that Thomas has failed to provide documents pertaining to other licensing agreements he has with companies to use “The Big Hurt”, all documents showing he owns the copyright to his nickname, along with all financial records showing how much he has made in royalties for the past 10 years from his trademark.
Reebok claims that Thomas is over five months late in providing the documents and is holding up the case unnecessarily. They are demanding the court order the baseball legend to produce the documents or dismiss the case. See the exclusive court docs.
