Taraji P. Henson Says Dating Life Sucks: Guys don’t court, anymore. [VIDEO]
Turns out that just because you’re a celebrity, doesn’t mean that men (or the right men for that matter) are knocking down your door. This week, actress Taraji P. Henson had a mini-venting session on the Wendy Williams Show, telling the talk show host just how wack the dating pool is these days. And according to the EMPIRE actress, one of the main issues is, men no longer want to court a woman.
It’s hard to date, guys don’t court anymore….Some think they can talk you to Chipotle or Griddle Pancake and then jump in the sack….And it’s like, Ummm I’m a little bit more than pancakes.
But don’t get it twisted, she’s enjoying the single life.
I’m not like ‘Woe is me I don’t have a man…I am extremely happy…’
When asked by Wendy if she’d ever consider dating her former No Good Deed co-star, Idris Elba, Taraji joked:
Me? Dated Idris Elba? I ain’t fighting K.Michelle! I’m playing. That was a serious joke. Remember, I don’t date guys I work with. I don’t. I love him dearly. We make great business partners.
