2 Chainz Defends Weed to Nancy Grace: Truuuuu! + Watch the Show [VIDEO]
Last night, HLN’s Nancy Grace and 2 Chainz (real Tauheed Epps) battled it out over the legalization of marijuana, and the discussion gets both heated and entertaining. The rapper tells Grace:
Umm, I’m not sure if you know but everybody has the ability to get their hands on pot right now, whether it’s legal or not. I just feel like if you legalize this particular drug it could cut out certain things in the criminal justice system as far as the overcrowding of prisons….
Grace shares a tragic story of a child that was neglected (and died), while his parents smoked weed and consumed alcohol, further expressing her point of why the drug should not be legalized. To this, Chainz replies:
From the story I just heard you talk about, they had alcohol included, which we all know, causes you to black out, forget things, memory loss. They also dealt with irresponsible people. I don’t think you can put an umberella on the whole community, from these few incidents you just named.
