Nick Cannon Officially Files For Divorce From Mariah Carey

Not that we’re surprised here, but the official split of Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey is VERY near. Reportedly, Nick went to the courthouse — without any media attention — back in December and filed for divorce.

According to TMZ, the paperwork is dated for December 12. And as you’ll recall, there was a ton of criticism on December 3, when Mariah showed up 3 hours late to tape a segment for the NBC tree-lighting special. Mariah’s tardiness may have to do with Nick dealing with the divorce fiasco.
