Rapper Snoop’s Son Commits to UCLA, Becomes First in Family to Attend College [Photos]
Apparently being one of Hip-Hop’s most honorable rappers isn’t the only reason Snoop (real nameCalvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr.) should be proud. From topping the charts at No. 1 for both Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop , the rapper/song-writer is the No. 1 fan to UCLA’s newest prospect.
Recently his son, Cordell Broadus, officially committed to UCLA. [FYI: This is the same school that Justin Combs, Diddy’s son plays football for]. The young athlete chose to take his talents to UCLA over USC and Arizona State. This 6’2 and 195 pounds, wide receiver, is known to be a threat in the open field.
Snoop’s son is rated as a 4-star recruit and also listed as the No. 26 wide receiver in the 2015 class.
Snoop told ESPN College Football after the official announcement,
I’m gonna back him up 1000% and throw out my USC drawers.
