You stay focused on the right things… You can’t control what people say. You live your life and you stay focused on what matters that’s all.

The ‘Don’t Kill The Fun’ singer also opened up about her recording music process:

I kind of hear melodies first. That’s how it started for me, I hear melodies first. Every experience you shock yourself because you never know how a song is going to turn out. You know, every song starts out with you throwing something against the wall and seeing if it’s going to stick.
