And in other news, actress Paula Patton has landed a new ABC pilot, “Runner”.

According to Variety, the ex-wife of Robin Thicke, is playing a woman named Lauren Marks,

a woman whose perfect life is torn apart by one twist of fate and to uncover the truth, she must follow a trail of lies that take her into the world of cartels and the illegal gun trade between the U.S. and Mexico.

The series will be directed by Michael Offer (who also directed the hit show, How To Get Away With Murder) and produced by Michael Cooney.
