‘R&B Divas’ Angie Stone Arrested, Allegedly Knocked Out Daughter’s Teeth

Ms. Diamond Stone then went on to state that Ms. Angie Stone started (getting) in her face, telling her she needed to leave because she is tired (of) her. Ms. Diamond Stone then stated her and Ms. Angie Stone started to argue, and that’s when a physical altercation started to occur.

Reportedly, Angie told police she did not know she hit her daughter with a metal stand. Police also stated the police report,

Once she realized this. she quickly put the stand down and attempted to get away from Ms. Diamond Stone. Ms. Angie Stone then stated while she tried to get away, Ms. Diamond Stone continued to come after her as if to strike her again but stated that Ms. Blondy Chisolm came to break up the fight.

Angie’s daughter, Diamond, paints a different version. According to the report, she walked away after Angie struck her in the face with the metal stand and called police. Both women were taken to DeKalb County Police Department headquarters for questioning. Diamond Stone was released with no charges. Angie is being held in the DeKalb County Jail on a charge of domestic aggravated assault.

This isn’t Stone’s first incident with the law. In March 2011, she was arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license, while on her way to church. According to her rep, she was unaware that her license was suspended due to an unpaid parking ticket.
