And in other news, Brandy Norwood is taking her talents to Broadway. Next month the singer and actress will play Roxie Hart, a woman behind bars in “Chicago.” Brandy confirmed the news on Instagrm writing:

The name on everybody’s lips is gonna be… BRANDY! Broadway summons their newest Roxie Hart, Brandy Norwood, to the Broadway stand beginning April 28th. @4everbrandy

Her appearances will start April 28 at the Ambassador Theatre.

And in other news, Idris Elba is reportedly set to star in The Trap, a revenge tale set against the backdrop of the Miami music scene. Idris will play a rap artist, while Benicio Del Toro will star as his best friend. Idris will replace Jamie Foxx with Al Pacino, Robert Pattinson and James Franco also in final talks to join the cast.
