Taraji P. Henson Issues Apology After Accusing Police of Racially Profiling Son
Taraji P. Henson has issued a public apology, after accusing Glendale, California police officers of racially profiling her son. The Empire actress had initially said in an interview with Uptown Magazine, that she would be sending her 20-year-old son to Howard University, as opposed to a predominantly white university, because he had been racially profiled.
However, on Friday, she issued a public apology on Instagram, writing:
I would like to publicly apologize to the officer and the Glendale Police Department
