(EXCLUSIVE) NBA’s Richard Jefferson – Ex-Business Manager Calls BS, Says His Reckless Spending Caused Him to Lose Millions

The bank who the loaned was taken out with, IS suing Jefferson for the repayment of the loan — but Jefferson is asking for a stay of the lawsuit until the FBI has wrapped up their investigation on Kritza.

ON March 24th, Kritza filed docs blasting Jefferson’s claims the FBI is investigating him for robbing his former client out of millions. He explains that he has had 2 sit down interviews with the FBI and cooperated.

Kritza says the core issue is the NBA star’s unwillingness to take responsibility for his reckless spending. He claims Jefferson signed his $76 million dollar contract back in 2004 and has bought million dollar homes, several luxury cars, spent $500K to renovate his home, donated $3.5 mill to a school, lost $300K when he didn’t go through with a wedding, lost $1.4 million in an online company and hundreds of thousands on personal expenses.

The man says Jefferson agreed to help him start a management company for athletes and loaned him $2 million dollars to be repaid by 2016.

However, Kritza claims that Jefferson had to take a salary cut in 2011 and also dealt with a loss of income with the lockout. He also got a new team of financial advisers who reviewed his finances and Kritza says he provided all records and cooperated with them.

Then the bank came to Jefferson to repay the loan and he refused claiming he was a victim of fraud, despite him fully knowing about the loan he agreed to give his ex-business manager.

Kritza claims that Jefferson went to the FBI in 2013, but he has a much different recollection of the phone call with the FBI. He says he sat down with the FBI twice and they have not had any movement in the case since July 2014. He is demanding the legal battle continue on and Jefferson not be allowed to avoid responsibility for the loan any longer. See the exclusive court docs.
