‘Furious 7’ Breaks Records At Box Office, Tyrese Credits Paul Walker
Universal’s action movie, Furious 7, killed at the box office over the weekend. The sequel to the 2013 film Fast & Furious 6 and the seventh installment in the Fast & Furious film series, brought in (as of Sunday) a record $143 million opening at the domestic box office.
According to CNN, this is the biggest opening weekend in 2015. The film also became the top opening in “Fast” series history, surpassing the $97.3 million of 2013’s “Fast & Furious 6.”
The film was Paul Walker’s last movie appearance, as the actor died in a 2013 car crash while the film was still in production.
