(EXCLUSIVE) Tyga Reaches Settlement w/ Ex-Business Partner Over ‘Last Kings’
Tyga blasted his ex-business partner in court documents, claiming that he gave Marrero a percentage of the company. Further, Tyga states the man never was promised any money for coming up with the designs for Last Kings.
The rapper said that Marrero stepped down from the line in 2012 and thus gave up all commission from the sales of the line.
The lawsuit was headed to trial next month where the case was to be heard before a jury, along with Tyga having to take the stand and be grilled by his ex-business partner.
However, according to docs filed on April 30th Tyga and Marrero have reached a settlement in the case which will help the rapper avoid taking the stand in court. The filing notes that Tyga has reached a agreement with his ex-partner to dismiss the case and end the legal battle. See the exclusive court docs.
