CNN’s Don Lemon Criticized For ‘N*GGER’ Sign [VIDEO]

Don Lemon-Criticized For Using N Word Sign-the jasmine brand

Does this sign offend you?

If there’s one thing that CNN’s Don Lemon knows how to successfully do — it’s spark a conversation and offend a few folk. The popular network anchor is being criticized by some after holding a sign-up (on-air) with the word ‘n*gger’. The sign-holding stunt was prompted after a podcast interview of President Obama aired, where he discussed race relations and used the word ‘n*gger’ during the conversation. Lemon held up a confederate flag and the large, while asking viewers “Does this offend you?” See the clip.

I am so not for this “Drama Queen”. If Don Lemon is on CNN, I do not watch it. I like news and sophistication, not fake controversy and unintelligence. He will often challenge an unexpressed opinion in ways that make little sense. His line about a black hole swallowing up Flight 370, in particular, is one of the stupidest questions that any professional news person has ever asked. He asked one of Bill Cosby’s alleged rape victims last year why she didn’t use her teeth to stop Cosby. A rape victim doesn’t need to be “challenged” with Monday morning quarterbacking, least of all from a guy who ADMITS to being a victim of sexual abuse himself. Either he has no respect for the intelligence of his audience, or he is a moron. Neither is exculpatory.

The idea that Lemon would use the murder of nine people and the conversation about racism in America to make his own self-promotional meme is pretty offensive.

While giving his side of the protests, Mr. Lemon reported seeing protestors jumping on cars and hearing gunfire before adding, “Obviously, there is the smell of marijuana in the air.”

Let’s not forget Lemon’s “five things” list of ways black people needed to change to combat racism. Because, you know, only black people can combat racism. Those things were pulling up your pants, not littering, stopping having out-of-wedlock children, no longer using the n-word and finishing school.
Lemon seems to be oblivious to racism and what some people in the black community go through until he specifically is involved. Lemon was racially profiled while shopping and he tried to sue. And there was a time a white actor thought Lemon was a bellhop at a hotel. That’s when Lemon chooses to pull out his handy race card. When Lemon reported from Ferguson, he was pushed by a cop… he was so upset…it wasn’t as if the cops were giving him a real, “Westside Chicago A** beating,”
Lemon’s finger-pointing at the black community are probably why a lot of people have mixed feelings about him. Instead of pointing the finger at things black people need to do or should do, maybe Lemon should look at the bigger picture: It doesn’t matter how high you wear your pants, or how much education you have, you are still Black and considered irrelevant.
