(EXCLUSIVE) ‘Being Mary Jane’ Actor Gary Dourdan – Blasts Ex-Girlfriends $110K Lawsuit

In her new lawsuit, she explained that the two entered into a confidential settlement in March 2014,  with Dourdan agreeing to pay his ex a total of $110K for the attack. The actor was to make 2 payments of $10K then 36 monthly payments of $2,500, and once he finished paying Cannizzaro would dismiss the lawsuit.

She is demanding the $110K NOT be wiped clean for Dourdan as part of his bankruptcy –especially since he shouldn’t be given a break given that he caused intentional and malicious injury to her.

On July 1st, Dourdan fired back at his ex’s lawsuit claiming she shouldn’t be paid. The actor explains that Cannizzaro didn’t file the lawsuit within 60 days of him filing his Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition, and regardless of whether or not he owed her the money per their deal … she waited too long and therefore she cannot claim he owes her anything.

Dourdan is demanding the court throw out her lawsuit and wipe clean the $110K he agreed to pay her in the settlement over allegations of assault.
