Kelly Rowland Teases New Song, Preps For ‘Empire’ [VIDEO]

Not only is Kelly making new music but according to reports, she will be making an appearance on the hottest show out right now, Empire.

She will be teaming up with Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson in season two and will play Lucious Lyon’s mother in a flashback.

Speaking of flashback, Rowland will also be starring in a new show coming to BET called ‘Chasing Destiny.’ The series will center around Kelly trying to find the next hot girl group and will be released
later this year.

I think each generation should be better than the last, and I really want to put together a group: I feel there’s one just out there waiting to be discovered, and I want to be the one to do it.

The singer told Entertainment Weekly at her Samsung Galaxy Experience talk at the Essence Festival in New Orleans.
