Rosie Perez Allegedly Quits ‘The View’ After Being Forced to Apologize to Kelly Osbourne
Rumor has it, Rosie Perez has thrown up the deuces, earlier than expected. According to the Daily Mail, her sudden departure was full of drama and it all allegedly surrounded Kelly Osbourne.
As you’ll recall, Kelly found herself knee-deep in controversy when she made some questionable comments about Latina’s, while discussing Donald Trump [Click here for the back story].
Here’s an Instagram clip of Kelly’s sound bite.
Toward the end of the show, Rosie apologized on air to Kelly stating:
I want to apologize to this young woman once again for being very sensitive. Kelly Osbourne is on our side and I was sensitive and my disdain should go to only Donald Trump. Sorry darling.
Kelly responded, stating:
No need to apologize to me, I love you Rosie!
However, according to the site, the apology was forced by ABC execs who cornered her during the break and demanded she apologize.

I may be the only one who thinks that Kelly wasn’t trying to be hateful towards Donald. I think she was trying to take a jab and the words came out wrong.
But people are so easily offended and in this PC world that we live in today, you can’t say much of anything.
Yeah you are the only person that think that!!!!! She is in the public eye and she should know better. She meant exactly what she said because its not like she is NOT outspoken.
You’re not the only one who thinks that. I agree with you. If you’ve watched Kelly over the years, you know her heart does not feel the way it sounded. It came out wrong and unfortunately live TV, and public scrutiny is unforgiving.
Everyone has made mistakes, said things the wrongs way, and have glasses…but everyone is also quick to judge, label and throw stones.
I hope Kelly soon recovers from this.
She should have never apologized. How dare they? If anything, Kelly should have been the one to have to cow tow to everyone else. What kind of stuff is this? Rosie was toward the end of her contract anyway, but kudos to her for walking away.
