Laura Govan Talks Dating After Gilbert Arenas, Sex Tapes & Why She Won’t Return To Basketball Wives LA

If she considers herself single:

I am definitely single now. But you know I am just taking it easy. There are a couple of guys I have been out on dates with. One of my best friends went on my Instagram and was like, ‘I want to set you up on like blind dates’ and so I went on one blind date. It was good. You know it was a good time. It was not nothing that I would go back or have a second date for but you know he just was not my type. I wanted something taller. 

If famous guys try to date her:

 I get a lot of DM’s. I will leave it at that. I will say I am having a good time. It is just now coming around. 

If she’s ever made a sex tape:

No!  I do not think that is attractive. I would never have a threesome. I am just not into that stuff like videotaping, threesomes, girls.

If she brings men around her children:

I would not bring a man around my kids like that. I would ask permission. I would talk to Gilbert. I would be like, ‘hey what do you think about this? How do you feel about that?’ Just out of respect to him. That is their father. I just do not want someone to come in thinking, “I am daddy.” Like no come in [and] have a seat, I want someone to come in and be their friend more so. They have a father.

If she would return to Basketball Wives or another reality show:

No, I would not.  I really would not. Hell, it was a learning experience and that is why I say I would not go back to that situation. At the time, it was who I was and where I was at that point in my life. But as things went on, I grew up real fast in that industry.  I did not know the things that went on and behind the scenes — how they manipulate and how they turn and twist and do everything. You know, they already have characters they want on the show. So they make you the character they want you to be.

I don’t watch the show now and I did not really watch the show when I was on it. I did not like [how] my voice was on TV because I sound like I got snot in my noise (laughs)…It is not just that; it was the way I looked. I look so much different now. I was 234 pounds when I just got on the show. I just had my fourth child.
