Lauren London & Jill Scott Cast In John Singleton’s Pilot, ‘Snowfall’

Lauren just wrapped up the final season of comedy-drama, The Game, and Jill recently co-starred in a Lifetime movie, With this Ring that premiered this past January.

Jill is also currently on tour promoting her latest album, Woman.

Also, according to The Hollywood Reporter, here’s what FX’s original programming presidents (Nick Grad and Eric Schrier) had to say about the show and the partnership with Singleton:

Snowfall takes us on a wild ride through one of LA’s most fascinating cultural and social periods, and no one can tell this story better than John Singleton,” said Schrier. “The pilot script by John and Eric brilliantly depicts the era through the story of three captivating characters, and we can’t wait to see John’s execution of it.

Singleton took to Instagram to express his excitement about London’s and Scott’s addition to the pilot:
