‘I couldn’t, I didn’t want to.’ Kelly Osbourne Says She Couldn’t Return to Fashion Police Without Joan Rivers
After hinting at a possible return to E!’s Fashion Police, Kelly Osbourne is now singing a different tune. In February, after 5 ½ years as co-host, Kelly announced she was leaving the show after co-host Giuliana Rancic made a controversial comment about singer/actress, Zendaya Coleman’s hair. As you’ll recall, during a segment on the show, Giuliana said Zendaya “probably smells like patchouli oil,” after the tees star rocked dreadlocks at the Oscar’s.
The former reality TV wild child and daughter of famous rock icon, Ozzy Osbourne, recently sat down with New Zealand’s Remix magazine and shared the real reasons she decided to depart from the show, her thoughts on Melissa River’s return to the show and if there’s any truth to the hint she gave about coming back.
Kelly says that she decided to leave the show at the time of the controversy, but insists that regardless of the tension between her and Rancic, she had plans to exit the show.
There’s no “maybe” or “wait and see.” Regardless of what happened or not, this was my last year.
