(EXCLUSIVE) 50 Cent to Bankruptcy Judge – Please Let Me Keep Control of My Bank Accounts
50 explained in court docs that he is not a celebrity who has spent recklessly living the high life, but rather he is the prime example of the American Dream — he just got caught up in too many legal battles that have left him with tens of millions to pay out.
50 Cent updated his list of assets to include a total of 7 cars — 1966 Chevy Coupe, 2015 Chevy Suburban, 2010 Rolls Royce Phantom, 2005 Chevy Suburban, 2008 Dodge Sprinter, 2003 Chevy Suburban and a 2012 Suzuki Kizashi Sport — which combined are worth over $500k.
50 also says he owns over $4 million in stocks and he has over $10 million dollars in the bank. His famous Connecticut home – formerly owned by Mike Tyson – is worth a total of $8.25 million.
On August 26th, he headed back to court pleading with the bankruptcy judge to allow him to keep control of his investment accounts. He explains that since filing the case he has continued to control his assets and property along with manage his business affairs.
50 Cent says he has investment accounts at various financial establishments. He is pleading with the judge not to take away his control of his investments and allow him to continue using his accounts. He says that if the judge doesn’t side with him it will be potentially detrimental to his estate and not allow him to continue making money to pay off his massive amounts of debt. The judge has yet to make a decision on 50’s motion.
