(EXCLUSIVE) 50 Cent Fires Back at Boxer’s Attempt to Void Contract w/ Promotion Company
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusive reports, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson is blasting the fighter signed to his boxing company – who is attempting to have a bankruptcy judge void his contract – with the rapper heading to court demanding the boxer’s deal NOT be terminated and he be forced to stay with him.
As previously reported, this year the rapper/mogul’s boxing company SMS Promotions filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, stating it had between $100k – $600k in debt — only 3 years after it launched strong by signing various boxing champs. According to court docs in the bankruptcy, SMS Promotions stated their liabilities over $2.3 million dollars and only $644,903 in assets.
However on September 30th, lightweight champ Ryan Martin filed docs in the bankruptcy explaining he was screwed over by SMS Promotions and demanded his contract be voided ASAP.
